Let’s visit some of the most beautiful corralones that are preserved to discover that keep much of the history of Malaga among its walls. The central courtyards of these neighborhood houses witnessed the birth, childhood and life of one of the best Flemish artists the city has given.
The Church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán will be our next stop, there is the Christ of Good Death or Christ of Mena, famous image that the Legionnaires carry in procession on Holy Thursday, one of the most anticipated moments of Malaga Holy Week.
We will then cross the Guadalmedina River by the famous Bridge of the Germans, know its peculiar history and continue towards the Palace of Villalón, the magnificent stately building of the sixteenth century, headquarters the Carmen Thyssen Museum. There we will take a tour of the most important collection of Andalusian paintings of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries with an expert guide.
We will finish our tour with gourmet tapas in Los Patios de Beatas, a unique and unique space in Malaga where the beauty of the building of great historical value is combined with the best of the local gastronomy.
